Bill O’Brien Everlast Commodore

Originally a carburetor VL built for O’Brien by Perkins Engineering in 1987, it was converted to ‘Walkinshaw’ for 1988 endurance races. A regular at Bathurst for the following years in 1989 to 1991 as the Everlast entry before being sold to privateer Chris Smerdon then raced by Scotty Taylor as Xerox Shop car. It then went through hands of further Tasmanian owners, and is now being restored in Victoria.
