Seton Falcon EL – 1997 ATCC

One of the effects of Craig Lowndes’ barnstorming ’96 title was the arrival of ‘The Kid’ suddenly made a lot of big name drivers appear to be rather closer to the end of their careers than they’d seemed pre-Lowndes. Glenn Seton was certainly not a part of that league – indeed, with Lowndes having left the local scene to have a go in European openwheeler racing, Seton lled the void to claim his second ATCC. The Ford Credit Falcon EL (GSR7) he used that year had started life as an EF built especially for the previous year’s Bathurst 1000, where it took pole.
