Morris/Mostert Falcon FG – 2014 Bathurst

Chaz Mostert and Paul Morris were the odd couple at Bathurst in 2014. Mostert won the Great Race at his second attempt; the latter was a winner at his 22nd. They won from last on the grid. Mostert set the fastest lap of the race; Morris’ fastest lap was the slowest of the entire eld! They only led for half of one lap, with Mostert taking the lead from an out-of-fuel Whincup the last time out of Forrest’s Elbow. The winning FPR FG (chassis FPR1216), wasn’t done with winning after that – Garry Jacobsen would use it to win the 2016 Dunlop Super2 series.
