The NSW Supercars Championship

-

All going well, NSW will host the nal ve rounds of the 2021 Supercars Championship, with four rounds set for consecutive weekends through late October and November at Eastern Creek before culminating in the Bathurst 1000 on December 5.

For the second year running, NSW has ended up with the lion’s share of Supercars events amid the calendar chaos wrought by the Covid19 pandemic.

With the season having started (and well as nishing) at Bathurst, NSW will host no less than half of this year’s 12-round series. Queensland had its back-to-back Townsville rounds but between the lockdowns it was single visits to the other states (and no Perth round for the second year running).

Victorian fans, accustomed to four rounds each year, have had the opportunity to see Supercars racing live just once in the last two years.

And while next year’s calendar is yet to be nalised, NSW has already been con rmed as host state for the opening round with the return of the Newcastle street race.
