Tony Gerace

The magnificent Electric Blue Phase III featured here was kindly supplied by Tony Gerace, of Gerace Restorations in Mile End, Adelaide. Tony started the business 30 years ago importing and restoring cars but these days specialises in restoring GTHOs. This is Tony’s personal GTHO, which he’s owned for 15 years. “It was owned by one of my customers,” he says. “It was just a really nice car. I maintained it for him over the years, and I asked him to give me first option on it if he ever wanted to sell it.” It doesn’t get a lot of use these days; in fact, Tony tells us, before our photoshoot it hadn’t been out of his garage in 10 years – and the last time it was driven was also for a magazine photoshoot!
