As noted earlier, the D850’s control layout replicates exactly that of the D500. This means the top deck has a large LCD read-out panel on one side and Nikon’s signature (at least on its top-end D-SLRs) buttons-within-a-dial control cluster. The four keys provide direct access to the quality settings, metering modes, white balance settings and exposure modes.
