The main mode dial has positions for custom camera set-ups plus the ‘Slow & Quick Motion’ settings for either slow-motion or quick-motion video effects. The exposure compensation dial is marked for up to +/-3.0 EV of correction, but the full range is +/-5.0 EV. The hotshoe has Sony’s ‘Multi Interface Shoe’ connections which support a range of dedicated accessories. A PC flash terminal makes an appearance for the first time on an A7 series camera. There are dual memory card slots; one for SD types alone (with UHS-II speed support) and one multiformat for SD or MemoryStick Duo types.
