Speakers are National Geographic magazine photographer Ami Vitale (USA), photojournalist Stephen Dupont, oceanic photographer Ray Collins, digital photographic artist Tamara Dean and award-winning landscape photographer Christian Fletcher. Aperture’s featured photographers will showcase the stories behind their most iconic pictures. Cost is $495 for both days. 10 – 12 August: 2019 AIPP Australian Professional Photography Awards (APPAs). Judging of Australia’s premier photography awards for professional photographers at the Royal Randwick conference and exhibition centre in Sydney. Online entries commence from 1 July and close on 25 July. Print cases must be submitted by 1 August. Judging is open to the public and admission is free. A trade show runs concurrently.
