Fujifilm’s latest firmware upgrade for the GFX 100 mirrorless digital medium format camera – Version 3.00 – adds a multi-shot capture function for creating ultra-high resolution images. The GFX 100 already has 100MP on tap, but with shifts of just half a pixel over 16 shots, the end result is a massive 400 megapixels! It also records full RGB colour at each pixel. The 16 RAW files are processed post-camera in Fujifilm’s new Pixel Shift Combiner software which outputs a merged Adobe DNG file. For more information visit www.fujifilm.com.au
