This compact wide-angle prime has an optical construction comprising 10 elements in eight groups, which includes one element with super lowdispersion (SLD) characteristics. It also includes three high-precision glass-moulded aspherical elements to optimise corner-to-corner sharpness. A minimum focusing distance of 10cm gives a maximum reproduction ratio of 1:2 or half life-size.
