Can tech help me gain muscle?
ALook away from the infomercials, Mr Flex, because there’s nothing for you there. GaGu can’t legally say that (unnamed) vibrating standoplates or torturous ab-zappers don’t work, but use a little common sense – you know you can’t cheat your way to a six pack.
The trick is to dodge the other kind of six pack, get your diet right, and work the right things at the right time. Tech, or at least apps, can help with that; Fitness Point (iOS/Android, free) offers a basic selection of mass-building routines, with animations to help you find the right form, while Jefit (iOS/Android, free) does the same with photos, and lets you track your lifts as well.
