1 KLIPSCH R820 DOLBY ATMOS HOME THEATRE SYSTEM

It’s hardly a surprise that the Klipsch R820 has often been name-dropped as among the best Dolby Atmos systems out there. Featuring copper-spun IMG woofers, which also give it that distinctive look sans its removable grilles, as well as Klipsch Tractrix horn technology for a more present high end, this sound system delivers the clearest and most detailed sound

with very minimal distortion.

Sony’s HT-ST5000 packs an impressive punch, squeezing in seven front-firing speakers, one sub and two up-firing Dolby-Atmos-enabled speakers in a two-piece setup. It’s hardly cheap, but it’s certainly worth the splurge, especially with the level of 3D surround sound it delivers. That’s on top of it being feature-rich, offering Bluetooth connectivity, wireless streaming and a dedicated Music Service button.

4 DALI SPEKTOR 6 5.1 PACKAGE W/ C-8 D SUBWOOFER WIT DALI ALTECO C-1 SPEAKERS

Overall, the Spektor series delivers a remarkably detailed sound, thanks to the clarity its tweeters provide, little to no signal loss due to its wood fibre

cone construction, and very little resonance due to its design. Add the Dali Alteco C-1 up-or-down firing speakers, and you’ve got the whole

Dolby Atmos package. Plus, that mahogany finish is a classic that looks good in just about any setup. $2,645, dali-speakers.com

3 SENNHEISER AMBEO

Given it emulates a 5.1.4 system, it’s unsurprising that the Ambeo

costs a pretty penny. This soundbar from sound master Sennheiser boasts two side-firing and two up-firing speakers for that Dolby Atmos immersion. And its six woofers are capable of going down to 30Hz to deliver a bold bass response without a separate sub unit. And smart-home junkies will adore its Smart Control App.
