Guarino gains SeaRoad COO role
industry veteran Patrick Guarino, left, is the new chief operating officer at Tasmanian multimodal transport firm SeaRoad. The company notes Guarino began his 35-year career with Australian National Line (ANL) before moving to the newly established TT-Line in a succession of roles, ranging from that of purser on the original ferry, Abel Tasman, to general manager of freight services and operations, and ultimately chief operating officer.
“Pat knows Bass Strait inside out and adds a wealth of knowledge and understanding about meeting Tasmania’s transport requirements,” SeaRoad executive chairman Chas Kelly says.
“Pat has been doing some business development work for us and I am very pleased he has accepted the Board’s invitation to take on this leadership role.
