MTE heavy haul trailers tick all the boxes when it comes to strength and performance
I n order to compete against long- established heavy haul trailer manufacturers in the Australian market, Modern Transport Engineers (MTE) know they have to produce trailing equipment that can measure up to the scrutiny of the toughest critics when it comes to withstanding the test of time.
Trevor Cox of MTE knows the company is doing something right because when MTE customers return to place repeat orders, increase their fleet size or capability he regularly hears those customers say things like “I couldn’t kill it”, “you can’t break them” and “they don’t let you down” when they speak about their past experiences with the MTE product.
Trevor also explains that the company has a very clear understanding of the expectations of the heavy haul customer, what they put the equipment through on what terrain, and the necessity for it to perform. He believes the MTE product ticks all boxes and, just as importantly, is well finished and presented.
Like most manufacturers MTE has loyal customers whom they truly value. The challenge, however, is having their brand recognised by those who have not taken their product into consideration. MTE truly believes they are THE SMARTER OPTION.
MTE is currently seeing sales of their five rows of eight (5x8) low loader units increasing due to the unit’s capability, flexibility and relative costing against platform units. Jody Thompson of Hartley ( The Blue Mountains) has recently taken delivery of a new 5x8 and when asked why he chose another MTE trailer he explains with passion, “Well, I had a three row of eight (3x8) and that trailer performed better than it should have; I loved it. So buying another MTE was a no-brainer. I have now taken delivery of a new 5x8 and the finish is first class. I already know the strength and other virtues of the product and the team at MTE couldn’t have looked after me better.”
MTE plan on being a true force in the heavy haul trailer market and believe by offering the right product at the right price with the right service they will achieve their goal.
