REMOTE BEAUTY

Many of the images on these pages are by photographer Agi Davis. After emigrating from Poland, Davis became fascinated with the Australian outback and has been assisting the charity Outback Futures for more than six years. The charity helps remote Queensland communities, living in isolated, often drought-affected regions, with mental and allied health services.“In my landscape photography I aim to highlight the beauty of this vast and foreign land,” she says.“Every time I have an opportunity to work with Outback Futures and travel to distant outback locations, meeting farmers and hearing of their way of life, my heart fills with passion.” outbackfutures.org.au
