Aside from pre­sent­ing cook­ing shows, Peter Ku­ru­vita (pic­tured) is also well known as a chef who spe­cialises in seafood. So it was only a mat­ter of time un­til there was a seafood-themed episode in this series to dip his feet into. Ku­ru­vita meets a third­diver gen­er­a­tion abalone who has grown his fam­ily busi­ness into a re­mark­able, mul­ti­mil­lion dol­lar en­tity. Also on the menu: cur­ing trout with lo­cally made gin and learn­ing how to grow and cure ca­pers. Ku­ru­vita’s warm per­son­al­ity im­bues the series, but it’s the beau­ti­ful scenery, paired with sim­ple know-how, that makes it a plea­sure.
