Peter Kuruvita’s Coastal Kitchen

Aside from presenting cooking shows, Peter Kuruvita (pictured) is also well known as a chef who specialises in seafood. So it was only a matter of time until there was a seafood-themed episode in this series to dip his feet into. Kuruvita meets a thirddiver generation abalone who has grown his family business into a remarkable, multimillion dollar entity. Also on the menu: curing trout with locally made gin and learning how to grow and cure capers. Kuruvita’s warm personality imbues the series, but it’s the beautiful scenery, paired with simple know-how, that makes it a pleasure.
