On the go?

Wrap the buns in foil and tuck in – they’ll stay warm for 30 mins if well wrapped. Just don’t for­get the nap­kins!

Cook­ing for lit­tle tums?

Smaller chil­dren who are eat­ing solid foods may find it eas­ier to eat the pork mince mixed with rice. If you’re at the wean­ing stage and your baby is on purées, scoop out a few spoon­fuls of the mince be­fore adding the bar­be­cue sauce and sea­son­ing, and purée it with some of the beans.

Fussy eaters?

Warm the beans through with a few spoon­fuls of the mince and serve sep­a­rately for those who like them.

Adult flavours

Serve pick­led jalapeños on the side for those who like a lit­tle heat.
