What A proper pie, com­pletely en­cased in pas­try, has to be one of the most com­fort­ing tra­di­tional Bri­tish dishes there is. Here we’ve filled it full of fes­tive cheer with Christ­mas meats to cre­ate a pie that makes a whole new cel­e­bra­tory dish out of left­overs. A home­made pie is a kitchen project, one to take your time over and one you should share with pride. How We’ve com­bined two types of pie to cre­ate a deep-filled tall pie that can be eaten hot or cold. We’ve made a pas­try that’s crumbly but still easy to work with and added some clas­sic flavours to com­ple­ment the turkey and ham.
