My Nutribulle­t, now 50 shades of fading grey, is a vital organ in my kitchen. As someone who heavily relies on marinades, pastes and spice mixes – from jerk and Scotch bonnet pepper sauces to almond broccoli pesto – these little blades blitz so many heady lavours in seconds, making light work of heavy ingredient­s. Given the amount of Scotch bonnets those containers have seen, though, I’m shocked that my Nutribulle­t piña coladas don’t leave a chilli tingle on my tongue…
