ECO FRIENDLY AND SMART CLEANING
It’s no surprise antibacterial cleaning products peaked in popularity last year but with sustainability also on our minds we’ve also seen an increase in eco-friendly cleaning products, including natural antibacterial sprays and plastic-free washing-up sponges. So, what’s the next big thing in eco-cleaning? Lakeland began selling the H2O e3 eActivator Cleaning System (£89.99) at the end of last year and it’s already popular. Yes, it’s expensive for a cleaner but the S-mart water eActivator bottle allows you to make your own non-toxic sanitiser at home. Fill it with water, add salt (and white vinegar if you want to kill o viruses like the lu bug) and plug it in. It uses low-voltage electricity to change the molecular structure and create sodium hydroxide (a powerful degreaser) and hypochlorous acid (a sanitiser).
