Barney is the longest standing member of the cookery team, and has written, developed and tested many of the recipes you’ll ind across all Good Food platforms. Barney is our resident sourdough expert, developing recipes from a beginner-level white sourdough through to pizza bases and sourdough cinnamon buns. He also runs a micro-bakery from his own kitchen, turning out loaves weekly. ‘I honestly think there’s no iner piece of kitchen magic than taking three of the most basic ingredient­s, lour, water and salt, and turning them into a beautiful loaf of bread. There’s something unique to baking your own sourdough. No two loaves are ever exactly the same and you’re constantly learning, which keeps your interest sparked.’
