One of France’s great foodie regions, the bountiful Rhone Valley, is as famed for its Burgundy vintages as its classic French cuisine. On this wonderful eight-day river cruise through the heart of the region, you’ll be joined on-board by two-michelin-starred chef Michel Roux Jr, as well as popular food critic and presenter Tom Parker Bowles.
You will sail along the Rhone, through beautiful countryside, aboard a luxury Emerald Waterways Star-ship, with fascinating stops at Arles, Avignon and France’s gastronomic capital, Lyon, which is the best place to try signature Lyonnaise dishes, as well as visit some leading wineries.
Michel Roux Jr and Tom Parker Bowles will give private talks and take part in a Q&A to answer your burning culinary questions. They will also join you for a special market tour in Lyon. Michel will host a cooking demonstration and select the mouth-watering menu for dinner on his final night, and Tom will join you for a regional wine-tasting on-board.
