Cook’s Tour is a meal kit with a difference

-

We’ve tried plenty of recipe boxes and restaurant meal kits at home over the past 18 months, but this is different. The idea behind A Cook’s Tour is to take people on a culinary adventure around the world, from the comfort of their kitchen. Choose from a different menu every fortnight, each created by a top chef, with a focus on a different world cuisine. Past examples include a taste of Oaxaca, Mexico with Thomasina Miers, Beirut with Ottolenghi’s Exec Chef Calvin Von Niebel, and Sicily with Angela Hartnett. You’ll receive a box of high-quality ingredients and a link to join a live cook-along with the chef (or you can follow at your own pace via video recording). The experience is just like attending a cookery course, only from home, meaning you can relax and enjoy the final feast with your partner, family member or housemate at your own kitchen table. The kits have a nice balance of elements that simply need heating and/or plating and those that require more hands-on work, and involve learning new skills. From £65 for two people, acookstour.co.uk
