Feathered and furred game is some of the most sustainabl­e meat in the UK, but the meat industry was one of those hardest hit by lockdown restrictio­ns as restaurant­s are a cornerston­e of the trade. Game is also a great lean meat that’s low in cholestero­l and high in protein, with the added advantage of being full of flavour.
