fruit, which might usually be discarded. Garnishes conjure a sense of fun, but are also a good way of indicating what the drink is and impart extra flavour. Try garnishing a margarita with a slice of fresh jalapeño, or use a festive stencil to dust espresso or cocoa powder over the foamy top

of an espresso martini.
