Mursal Saiq runs Cue Point, a barbecue restaurant and home delivery service, with her partner Joshua Moroney
(cue-point.co.uk). The ‘inclusive barbecue’ menu features halal meat as well as plenty of options for veggies and vegans, and the food reflects their stories. Mursal’s family fled Afghanistan in 1990 and settled in India before moving to the UK, where her family faced racism and prejudice. Her experiences have made her a vocal advocate for equality in food and society.
