Here’s why Rebecca and Anthony think their adorable old-timer, Steve, is a Great British Dog…

‘Steve is very important to our family. He’s always there at the end of the day, and I love how protective he is of our two young sons,’ says Rebecca.

‘Steve has got more confident as he’s grown up,’ adds Anthony. ‘But he’s still as friendly and lovable as when we first got him. I’m just glad he’s stopped chewing the banister!’

Both Rebecca and Anthony are particularly grateful for the sense of purpose Steve gives them. ‘Walking Steve is a family outing. Having that quality time together, out in the fresh air, is so important,’ says Rebecca.
