Sandra’s chocotorta
Chocotorta is a no-bake Argentinian dessert that was influenced by Italian cuisine. It’s made with three Argentinian kitchen staples: thin chocolate biscuits, dulce de leche and soft cheese. The biscuits are softened in milk, coffee or coffee liqueur, then layered with a combination of soft cheese and dulce de leche. I learned to make this dessert from my mum, and have since taught my daughter to make it. She loves to bake, too, and this is her favourite dessert. It’s perfect for a garden party.
