Svitlana Nartyniuk, 42, is from Kyiv and part of the BBC Good Food Together Facebook group. She says, “I’ve been in England since May with my wonderful sponsors from the Home for Ukraine scheme. I posted in a local Facebook group talking about how I baked cakes to order in Ukraine. I received a lot of supportive messages, including from a lady called Leigh who asked me to join the Good Food group. I agreed, and wrote a post there about making pastries, bread, buns and rolls. In Ukraine we say, ‘When you put love into what you do, it always works out!’ So, I do everything with love. Thanks for all your support!”
