THE SOCIETY INC. My very own shop housed in a 300 square-metre rambling warehouse of an old factory in Sydney’s St Peters is an imaginarium for the treasures I nd on my travels, locally crafted wares and furniture, and our own hardware, lighting and homewares designs. Part haberdashery, part hardware but all make-believe and magic, it’s a space that feels as if you are walking through the pages of my books. It is located within Precinct 75, an offering of retail and studios. SEASONAL CONCEPTS This shop is truly a magical emporium from another time. The store is in a two-storey Georgian-style house built in 1856 and now a world of curiosities lovingly restored by Ken Wallis and his partner TR. They seek out all things wonderful, from Australian colonial furniture, taxidermy, fresh owers, shells and ceramics to props, seafaring paraphernalia and remnants from another time. seasonalconcepts.com.au

KOSKELA A fabulous interiors and homewares store housed in a ginormous warehouse that showcases plenty of examples of greatness in interiors and design, from their own range and others’ to Australian Indigenous crafted lights, kitchenware, rugs, books and more, supporting environmental and locally sourced pieces – perfect for exceptional product and the visual merchandising is an inspiration in itself. QUERCUS & CO Located right next to my own shop, Adam Jones illustrates and paints the most divine patterns he prints on wallpapers and linen for upholstery and interiors. His colours are to die for and I have used many of his designs in my interior projects. quercusandco.com
