REEF LIFE F ramed in g old- streaked dar k mar ble,

a crisp navy and white scheme f in a trul y polished look. DESIGNER DAVID HICKS “The remodelling of this 80s classic at Sunshine Beach near Noosa aw a complete new interior. As it is a home and not a weekender they did not want it to be too Queensland in its aesthetic. The main bathroom was to be hotellike in its luxury but also beach-inspired. Dark stone oors offer respite from the constant light and sunshine. Portoro marble was used for its beautiful golden veining and dramatic dark base. Cerused timber was used on joinery while white-gloss Japanese tiles line the walls in the shower and toilet area. Blue frosted glass separates the dark-blue bath from the shower.” What luxury item did you choose regardless of budget? “The Portoro marble is so unique and luxurious and completely sets the tone in the room.” davidhicks.com
