The Pavilions’ park-like setting was a natural reference point when Belle partnered with Mirvac – together with leading furniture and lifestyle brand King and Champagne house Perrier-Jouët – to create a sophisticated scheme for the three-bedroom Customer Lounge display terrace. In the open-plan kitchen, dining and living space, shades of stone, moss and smoky grey are seen in the plush upholstery of the King sofa, ottoman and armchairs, matched with the organic swirls of natural marble and timber grain.

Here and throughout the home, arresting art curated by Studio Gallery suggests exploded or abstracted ora through lush, gestural strokes of impasto paint – as in Flock by Gabrielle Jones, which hangs above the sofa. And proving that a penchant for nature needn’t preclude moments of glamour, the look is dialled up with glittering bijoux by Greg Natale. “The re ned palette guided the styling – emerald, brass, walnut and marble accents are sophisticated inclusions which complement the contemporary architecture and comfortable proportions of the terrace,” says Diana.

This tonal interplay and the profusion of green glimpsed from almost every vantage point makes the terrace feel rmly enmeshed in the environment and at one with the alfresco lifestyle it promotes.

“The bene ts of being in nature are well-documented, and residents use this space not just to enjoy private time but also for gatherings,” says Toby of the social ecosystem that has sprung in the shared gardens, a zero-maintenance alternative to the traditional suburban backyard. “Residents have enjoyed getting to know each other at barbecues and Sunday jazz sessions, dog-walkers regularly gather having made friends over a shared love of their canine best friends, and the co-working space has been a great advantage during lockdown.” Pavilions is now a natural habitat for design- and treelovers alike. pavilions.mirvac.com
