Col Exton and Carol Perry were in top form to win a singles each, before taking the match with a straight sets doubles victory.
A fired-up Kangaroos unit destroyed Plovers, enjoying a 4-1 victory in a classic match. Brian Harrington was sighting the ball well, winning both singles in a magnificent display.
Echidnas improved their position on the ladder with an outstanding 5-0 victory over Taipans.
Jeff Austen and Michelle Feldtmann showed no mercy, overwhelming their opponents in a high standard clash.
B-grade
Top-team,Numbats had to fight hard to hold off a determined Redbacks outfit, prevailing for a tense 3-2 victory.
John Spencer and Jack McNulty had a fright, fighting back to win a singles each, after posting a close three set doubles victory.
Meanwhile, Eagles produced a powerful performance to overcome Mozzies for a 5-0 victory.
Gliders moved into finals contention with a resounding 5-0 victory over Frogs.
Beth Grant and Coby Linke were sensational, showing strength to win all their matches in straight sets.
C-grade
Top team, Koalas secured an impressive 4-1 victory over Hawks. Helen Sharp was superb, playing strongly to win both singles in style.
Crickets were on top of their game, producing a convincing 4-1 victory over Magpies. Top player, James Young was at his best to win both singles.
