Benalla residents will have the opportunity to put questions and ideas to Member for Euroa Steph Ryan today during an online, electorate-wide forum.
Ms Ryan, who holds regular listening posts in communities throughout the electorate, said the forum was a way for residents who were unable to meet during business hours to have their say.
‘‘It’s always difficult for people who are working or busy with young children to get to a drop in session in person,’’ Ms Ryan said.
‘‘So this is a way to make sure everyone has an opportunity to share their ideas and views.
‘‘I am always seeking feedback from the electorate on the issues that matter to our communities.
‘‘People raise questions about everything from the provision of public transport, education and healthcare to concerns about crime and Labor’s treatment of the CFA with me on a regular basis.
‘‘Residents may also wish to seek detail on some of our recent election commitments, put (forward) their views on particular issues or ask me for information on the topics that matter to them.
‘‘I look forward to speaking with residents... about how we can get a better deal for the Euroa electorate.’’
The forum will take place today between 5.30 pm and 7 pm. People living in the Euroa electorate can take part by following the link on Ms Ryan’s website, www.stephryan.com.au
