Woolworths Benalla customers can pick up a treat to leave out for Santa and help the OzHarvest Christmas appeal at the same time.

It was International Cookie Day on Tuesday and Woolworths has stacked its bakery shelves with limited-edition packs of Santa Cookies to raise funds for this year’s Woolworths OzHarvest Christmas Appeal.

This sweet addition to the annual fundraiser makes for the perfect treat to leave out for Santa on Christmas Eve, with 50 cents from each pack sold helping OzHarvest to provide meals for Australian need.

Last year, more than 280 000 packs of Santa cookies were sold, raising over $140 000 towards the OzHarvest Christmas Appeal in total.

Baked in-store, Woolworths Dreamy Choc Santa Cookies come in a pack of five for $2.50.

This is just one way to donate in store this year, as customers can also support the Woolworths OzHarvest Christmas Appeal by purchasing a 50 cent token at their local Woolworths until December 24. families in
