Access to information
Telstra is bringing its nbn Experience Van to Benalla this week to help locals get informed about the new network face to face.
Local residents will be able to tour the Telstra nbn Experience Van, where Telstra teams will be on hand to offer advice on how customers can get the most out of their new nbn connection.
NBN-ready devices, such as Telstra TV and gaming consoles, will also be available to trial.
Telstra area general manager for Eastern Victoria Loretta Willaton said the nbn Experience Van would provide the community with a great opportunity to connect with the technology first-hand.
‘‘People can ask questions and we can help them understand how they can use the new network to change the way they oper- ate at home and at work,’’ Ms Willaton said.
‘‘We know many of our customers in Benalla and the surrounding areas are keen to understand more about how to make the transition to the nbn network.
‘‘The Experience Van is designed to ensure locals have access to all of the information they need to start taking advantage of the benefits as soon as possible.
‘‘Our team will also be able to advise customers on the plans and bundles best suited to support their individual needs.’’
The nbn Experience Van will be at 55 Bridge St on Friday, December 14, (10 am to 4 pm) and Saturday, December 15, (10 am to 3 pm).
