Auditions to be held

Benalla Theatre Company will be holding auditions for its 2019 musical production of Robin the Hood in early February. Robin the Hood is a hilarious spoof on the heroic adventures of Robin, trying to rescue his true love Maid Marian from the clutches of evil King John and his sidekick the Sheriff of Snottingham. Along the way, Robin and his Merry Men encounter some Greenies protecting Sherwood Forrest, Marlene the Magician, the Fairy of the Wood and members of the Sherwood Ladies Bowling Team. With many roles for males and females and a singing and dancing chorus, Robin the Hood will be a fantastic show to be involved with. The show will be staged at the Town Hall in late May. An Information Night will be held on Wednesday, January 30, at 7 pmat Benalla Theatre Company’s Hut 64 behind BPACC, with auditions to be held on February 3 and 4.
