ACC Hume turns sod Classrooms on way
Students and staff at Australian Christian College Hume held a special sod turning event on Monday morning.
The school is awaiting the arrival of three new classrooms, which will be delivered tomorrow.
The new buildings will be used by primary students, allowing existing rooms at the campus to be used by senior students as it transitions into offering a secondary education.
Principal Terry Harding was on hand with a shovel as excited students watched on.
He said the idea was for the new classrooms to be operational by the beginning of Term 4.
“This moment represents more than one year of planning,” Dr Harding said.
