Why hasn’t the emergency response fund been allocated?

- — Robert Bird, Winton

These are the questions I have Bridget McKenzie our Victorian National Party Senator, before the upcoming federal election.

Prior to the forthcoming federal election, I’d very much like to know your views please on the following matters I have raised.

Unlike you I support Helen Haines’ proposed integrity and transparency commission.

Do you have answers for me and I trust you don’t mind the voting community seeing your responses?

What is your understanding of climate change seeing you are now the Emergency Management and National Recovery and Resilience Minister?

Why has the $4 billion sitting in the Emergency Response Fund for more than three years, earning more than $830 in interest, not been allocated?

Does the Federal Government have any authority over criminal sentencing handed down by state judges? Do you believe the Murdoch media presents news and information accurately and impartially?

Is it your belief that the Murdoch media has 100 per cent integrity in this regard and that it handles complaints against it promptly and in an impartial manner?

Do you believe public funds should be allocated with fairness, integrity and transparency or should they be allocated on some other mechanism like how the sports funding was allocated?

That funding was used to help government members and target marginal seats. What is your understanding of a conflict of interest and pork barrelling? Thanking you in anticipation of your responses to the above.
