Putting on their best show
Horses and ponies from across the region were looking their finest for Benalla’s A&P Society’s Autumn Horse Show at the weekend.
Benalla A&P Society president Chris Ogden said the event went swimmingly, and was of great benefit to many, after the group has had to postpone its spring events for the past two years. “It was a great success, there was a high demand after a shortage of these types of events for two years,” Ogden said.
“There was over 100 horses, with competitors from as far as Wagga Wagga and as far south as the Yarra Valley.”
Horses competed in five rings across the day under saddle and led, plus a fun ring event which rounded out proceedings.
