Finishing what they started is the mantra at the Swans heading into season 2022, with Katunga coach Aimee Sidebottom intent on getting stuck in and tying up loose ends. A superb start to their 2021 season had the Swans perched at the pinnacle of the Picola District Netball League ladder before the season’s cancellation. “We’re looking pretty similar to how we did last season, we’re definitely looking to building upon our previous year,” Sidebottom said.
The Swans will take some beating this year, having retained most of their list, and with a an exciting crop of under-17s ready to bang down the A-grade door.
“We’ve kept pretty much the same team from last year, so we’re very keen to pick up where we left off,“Sidebottom said.
“The whole team have still got fire in the belly and we’re raring to go.”
