Perennial basil

A smaller shrub than the annual variety, it has the same flavour.

Team with tomato.

From seed in seed trays in September. Transplant to biodegradable propagation pots. In 4–6 weeks, plant in beds (October to December). Space 20–25cm apart.

Harvest in 10–12 weeks, before it starts flowering.
