Free-range eggs

The Better Homes and Gardens test kitchen supports free-range eggs. According to the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission, the use by producers of the label ‘free range’ requires, at least, that hens are able to move about freely on an open range on most days, and that most of the hens do so. The choice is yours, but we think free-ranging chooks lay pretty darn tasty eggs.
