Crabapple

Better Homes and Gardens (Australia) - - Flower Power -

Flowering in white, pink or rosy-purple, the wide-domed crabapple is one of the most spectacular of spring’s trees and its little autumn fruits are pretty too (but you’ll need another crabapple or eating apple nearby to cross pollinate the flowers). In the main, these are trees for chilly, highland or far southern areas, but you do see them in inland suburbs of Perth, Adelaide and Sydney.
