Highlighters
Highlighters work as spotlights
to emphasise your bone structure or make features stand out. The best areas to use them are the high planes of your face where the light naturally hits, such as the cheekbones, brows, down the bridge of the nose and on the cupid’s bow. If using a powder highlighter, dust over the areas you want to stand out. If it’s a cream, dab on small amounts with a fingertip and blend. Always blend in well.
Enhance your facial features with a stroke of light. Master Strobing Stick Illuminating Highlighter, $15.95, Maybelline.
Add light and definition to your features. Reflective Refiner Bright Light Highlight Powder, $50, Napoleon Perdis.
Wear on its own to emphasise your high points or mix with foundation to create a subtle glow. Good To Glow Highlighter, $12.95, Rimmel London.
