Feeding a crowd? Put this porridge on to cook just before you go to sleep and wake up to brekkie done.
Preparation time 10 mins Cooking time 8 hours Serves 8
2 cups wholegrain steel-cut oats 1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 apples, unpeeled, cored
and roughly chopped Brown sugar, nuts, yoghurt
and fresh fruit, to serve
STEP 1 Put all ingredients in the bowl of a 5L slow cooker.
STEP 2 Stir to roughly mix together, then place bowl in appliance. Cover with lid and cook on the low setting for 8 hours. STEP 3 Remove bowl from appliance and remove lid. Serve with sugar, nuts, yoghurt and fruit.
