cast concrete in

Better Homes and Gardens (Australia) - - Outdoor Inspiration -

Cast-offs can be a great source of quirky pots and planting containers for innovative gardeners. From old tins and buckets to laundry troughs and coppers, the possibilities are immense. The former function of this planter, spotted at central Victoria’s Blackwood Ridge Nursery, was as the bowl of a concrete mixer. Country clearing sales and auctions are good places to search for similar items. That industrial cast-off that nobody’s interested in just might make an ingenious and thoroughly practical planter – but always remember to add a few drainage holes before planting up.
