as BHG TV celebrates its 1000th episode, there’s one presenter who’s been there right from the beginning – Graham Ross, the show’s gardener extraordinaire! Today, he’s still inspiring Aussies to get into their gardens, and enjoy the delights of growing plants and improving their environments. It’s a passion that comes naturally – he’s been immersed in gardening since childhood, and sharing its joys is still his life’s work.

At home with Graham, it’s all about family, food and gardening. One of his very favourite places to spend time is his vegie patch, surrounded by his grandkids. Just as his own two children grew up surrounded by plants, so the next generation of the Ross family is also becoming immersed in gardening.

Along with TV shoots and together with wife Sandra, daughter Linda and son Kent, he also runs The Garden Clinic, with thousands of members around the country. And Ross Garden Tours, the family company, takes travellers to every corner of the world to experience amazing gardens. Visit ross

There have been so many highlights during Graham’s fabulous career, including being awarded the RHS Gold Veitch Memorial Medal by HRH Princess Alexandra on behalf of the Queen. But he has little time for reflection – there’s so much more to get on with!

1 In amongst it – Graham loves using succulents in pots, for their low-care good looks.2 Tropical plants dominate his back garden. Even the step treads are planted out!3 Urban farmers Graham and Sandra keep the whole family in fresh eggs.4 The vegie garden is a focus of family time. And regardless of the season, there’s always something he loves to harvest.5 Every corner of the garden is overflowing with exotic plants.
