HOW TO GROW THEM

Better Homes and Gardens (Australia) - - Flower Festival -

Native to North America, moss phlox (Phlox subulata) performs best in cool climates. It likes full sun but can tolerate part shade, and well-drained soil. Vigorous and low maintenance, moss phlox is frost tolerant and drought hardy once established. Grow it as a groundcover or in rockeries. It looks great on sloping banks or cascading over retaining walls. But it does like to spread, so you may want to grow it in containers.
