Only a few weeks to go, how exciting! But now’s the time to begin thinking about gifts in earnest!

-

what would Christmas be without wrapping paper? Oh, oh, oh, very little. Christmas wrap says the season is here! It makes for wide-eyed expectations of what is inside any pressie. And it presents an exquisite collection of bright colours, patterns and merry wishes under the tree, on cards, around the house and in stockings! Chrissy paper? It’s vital to creating wonderful festivities. Whether it’s a $2 roll for 10 metres or an expensive small glam sheet for around $6, selecting a style and theme for the year – colourful, pale, geometric, floral, festive, cool as, and coordinates everywhere – it’s as important for gift giving as the gift itself. Because with your creativity, a little time, a special ribbon and embellishment here and there, you can turn any gift, big, small, costly or inexpensive, into a really special event. (PS, it is good to remember you can make low-cost gifts look like a million dollars, if you wrap with flair!) But most importantly, a lovingly wrapped gift says, ‘You matter to me’. So we adore this issue because we get to rifle through sheets of deliriously delightful designs to choose a couple and give them as our gift to you. Our Christmas paper issue is our season’s wish to set you on your way to a riot of magnificently wrapped presents full of very good cheer. (And we love that you might just think of us while you’re wrapping!) Twirl it, weave it in and out, partner up two patterns on one gift, end with the flurry of a glorious ribbon. And watch their eyes light up! So Merry Christmas, good people and see you next month!
